Tooth #4 has officially made its exit. I knew it was wiggly but I didn't think it was that wiggly. Yet, when I came home from a less-than-ten-minute trip to the grocery store up the road tonight, he met me at the door with the tooth in his hand.
*sigh*
I'm still happy he still has all his top teeth because I just know that once his adult teeth come in on top, he's going to look even older than he already does. And just like I wasn't ready to give up the gummy smiles when they were babies and their teeth were coming in, I'm now not ready to give up the baby-teeth smiles that come with little boyhood. I'm just not.
