I tried curling today. You know. That thing where you lunge on the ice and release a big granite rock and two people sweep in front of the big granite rock in hopes of it coming to a stop in a big circle at the other end of the ice? Yeah that. I had a curling lesson today. Liz does all this random fitness crap and I'll try anything once so we work well together. She won three curling lessons for two in a silent auction, and I'm her "plus one."

It was actually pretty fun and I wasn't too bad at it for a first-timer. We have two more lessons in a couple weeks -- can't wait to go pro!

Oh and yesterday was my first triathlon training class. Two & a half hours of swimming, biking, then running exercises. It was fun, but I was EXHAUSTED the rest of the day! I couldn't believe how much that took out of me! After several weeks of not working out due to the holidays and The Sick (always an excuse, I know....), getting back into it is difficult, physically speaking. Mentally, I was  beyond ready to get moving again!
