I took the boys to Chuck E Cheese yesterday, just for fun. We got there a little after 11am when they opened and there was hardly anyone there. But the time we left at 1:15, it was becoming insane. We all had a fun time though! Played some skeeball and the boys did the virtual coaster repeatedly.... and we had pizza and Dew. Well, I had Dew. The boys had fruit punch.
Then we went to Mom's last night for New Years Eve (not Dan - he's still trying to get over The Sick). None of us made it till midnight.
Still.... it was super cozy waking up after 8am on on the first day of the year and enjoying a Dew and cinnamon roll(s) in front of the fireplace. Excellent start.
Came home and watched an insane Cotton Bowl game, where MSU pulled out the win by one point in the last 17 seconds of the game. Absolute insanity. But YAY! It was definitely fun to watch.
Tomorrow I work from home, then it's the weekend, then.....
... 40. HOURS. NEXT. WEEK. (Now that is insanity!)
