Gonna play catch-up here. I had several blog entries started over the past two weeks, but never finished them and hit "publish." So I'm just gonna do what I seem to do best: sum it all up in bullet points. And for the record, I totally look at my Google Calendar when I do these updates after two weeks of nothing.

Dec 3-4

• I had to go to Detroit for a training. I left at like 6:40am on Wednesday morning, and made it to the classroom at 8:40 (I was 10 minutes late). Detroit traffic sucks!

• I stayed overnight in Detroit because it was a 2-day training and coming back in afternoon traffic then driving back the next day would've drove me bat-crap crazy.

• I stayed at the same hotel as the trainers, and we all got upgraded to jacuzzi rooms! WIN!

ALL MINE!
• After dinner (we had dinner right at the hotel), I went back to my room and took advantage of the jacuzzi. I sat in hot water and watched The Santa Claus 2 on AMC. It was heavenly!

• After class on Thursday, I headed home. I had a hot date with a hot guy for a Christmas party!!

• My awesome friend Liz came over to watch the boys so Dan & I could go to the Christmas party for a little bit. We had a really good time. Awesome dinner, free wine, and fun company! We were home by 10pm because we're old.

Dec 6

• Family Christmas party at my step-sister's house. We did white elephant this year. It. Was. A. Hoot!!

• I ended up with a Mickey Mouse grilled cheese maker (we won't talk about the fact that I stole it from my 16-year old niece, who ended up with a plastic hand, hahahaha!!).

Dec 7-14

• Aside from a dentist appointment (cavity-free, I might add), and a personal training open house (where Sean kinda rocked a Bosu ball), the week was mostly uneventful.

• The boys and I stayed the night at Mom's last night, just for fun. Dan went hunting and I really wanted Dew in front of the fireplace this morning.

We had fun with kinetic sand for awhile last night

Perfect morning (not pictured: Dew in my hand)

When Evan woke up this morning, he went STRAIGHT for Grandma-snuggles! Love.
• One more week of school for Sean, then it's Christmas vacation. He's totally looking forward to it!

• One more 40-hour work week for me, then it's two short weeks in a row! I'm totally looking forward to it!
