Dan's birthday was Thursday. So on Thursday mid-day, I went around to a ton of work friends and gave them his phone number and asked them to text him a birthday message. Then I emailed a few (ie: 12) of my closest friends. Then I texted a few (ie: 4-5) of my other closest friends. I asked them all to blow up his phone with birthday wishes. He didn't know about 90% of the girls I had texting him. Around 11:30am, he called me and I could hear confused amusement in his voice. He was like,
"What'd you do? Put my birthday on Facebook?" BAHAHAHA!! No. I didn't do that -- I know my husband well enough to know he would
not find that amusing. In all, I think he received about 18 birthday text messages from girls he didn't know. He must've felt like a total stud.

For his birthday, I got us tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil: Varekai for Saturday (yesterday). So the boys went to spend the night with Aunt Janet while the Birthday Dude and I enjoyed a date night. It was freakin' awesome! We had planned to go to dinner afterward, but we ate popcorn during the performance so we weren't hungry. So we did one better: we shopped! Putzed around to a few stores, then went home and made a pizza.
We did NOT clean the house!
