Evan had his 2-year well-child exam this evening. He weighed in at 29 pounds, 7 ounces, and he was 34 inches long. He hasn't gained any weight since his 18-month appointment six months ago, which puts him down into the 65th percentile (from 90th percentile in April, haha!). Our chunky monkey is slimming down. Not a total shocker considering his toddler eating habits, and the fact that he goes nonstop during his conscious hours.

Aaaaand, we have officially debinked. Last night, I intended to put him down without a pacifier, but there was one already in the crib I had forgotten about. After several minutes of yelling, "My plug! My plug!" (it was kind of sing-songy, like he was telling us we forgot it and should get it for him), and repeating, "Tiger goes RAWR!" he got quiet. I assume he found the rogue plug and fell asleep.

But tonight, there are no plugs in the crib. He cried for a few minutes after he went to bed, then began talking. And singing. And singing LOUDLY. Baa Baa Black Sheep, Twinkle Twinkle.... you name it, he was singing it. It's after 9:00 now and I *think* he might be asleep finally (I know he was going until at least 8:45-8:50ish). But I can't say that with any degree of certainty. He might just be catching his breath before continuing his jam.
