Gizzardfest 2012 -- done! 

Sean spent Friday night with Aunt Janet while Evan spent the night with Mom. Dan & I went on a date (Red Lobster, baby!!)

Saturday, we ate pancakes at the church, Sean rode a pony, Evan held onto me for dear life begging me to take him off the pony (he didn't even make it once around the circle)....  Sean got a tattoo, Grandma got painted, we watched the parade, we collected candy, Sean rode carnival rides (though he was mostly content to go in & out of the fun houses), we ate hot dogs & hamburgers, the boys played in the pool on my Mom's back deck....  all this before 6pm!

And then came Sunday.

Dan & I had a house showing on Sunday so we intended to spend the morning cleaning and reorganizing. But when the realtor called around 11am saying he had another showing for our house that afternoon, we kicked it into high gear. I dropped the boys off with my Mom so she could take them to her house for lunch & nap (because we all know how effective it is to clean house with two small children following you like a tornado....). Then Dan & I went to Mom's for lunch & air conditioning.

We haven't heard anything about the showings, but at least the house looked fabulous when we got home Sunday evening.
