Day in, day out. We're continuing to get those little things done that need to get done before we can get our house on the [crappy] market in hopes of selling it and buying a new one.
Dan's been installing new cabinet doors in the kitchen this week. The utility room in the basement has been painted and the upstairs windows have been finished (all things that I really wish we'd done earlier so we could, you know, enjoy it, haha!). Tomorrow, the boys are going to my mom's house for the weekend so Dan & I can pack-pack-pack.
Seems unreal that we're in this place -- this place where we're actually entertaining the thought of a new home, and moving forward with a plan. A little scary. A lot frustrating. And I'm pretty sure if Dan & I get through the sale of this house, the purchase of another house, and the transfer of all our stuff between houses without divorcing or widowing each other, that we can make it through anything!!
PS. Our mallards came back this evening. Nothing cuter than two ducks on the front lawn, and a 1-1/2 year old kid yelling "Quack! QUACK!" out the window at them.
