I really wish this weekend's weather would have flip-flopped. Yesterday was cold, drizzly, cloudy, and there was a chance of snow (though, thankfully, that part didn't happen). Today was sunny & high-60's.
With the weather being what it was yesterday, we skipped soccer. Sean woke up coughing and sniffling, and neither Dan nor I could justify sending him to run around outside in the freezing crappy weather for an hour. Especially since Colin & Jackson's birthday party was yesterday afternoon and I was afraid that if he tried to do both activities, he'd be down for the count the rest of the weekend. And the birthday party was non-negotiable as far as I was concerned. Pizza, cake, ice cream, and Mt. Dew? Yes, please.
Not to mention Sean had been looking forward to it for over a week, so I would've hated to tell him he had to miss it for a runny nose.... Here's a great shot of Sean picking up pinata candy:
Thankfully whatever ickiness he was battling yesterday, seems to be significantly better today, so I don't have to regret taking him to the birthday party, haha!
This afternoon, Dan & I went house hunting. Very casually, of course, as our plans are still quite up in the air. But I will fully admit to being a bit more excited than I should probably allow myself to be.
