Less than 24 hours and we'll be in Florida. Barring any unforeseen circumstances of course, and I'm simply not willing to hold my breath on that one. Seems Lisa has passed on her travel karma in a twisted way, and I can't help but laugh.

Twelve days ago, Dan came down with a stomach bug. I couldn't decide if I should kiss him and get it overwith or stay as far away from him as humanly possible. I chose the latter and thus far, have not gotten the bug.

Two days ago, Grandma ended up in the hospital because she couldn't spell "pneumonia." You can't make this stuff up! But she's fine and currently in a Florida villa with Grandpa, Mom, and Cathy.

Today, Sean seems to be battling a very mild stomach bug. Thankfully they make Pepto for children. And as I was getting ready to walk out the door to take Evan to daycare, my aunt calls to inform me she needs to go to the hospital.

So I called into work, took The Aunt to the hospital, made arrangements for The Pug Ginger, picked up said Pug Ginger from The Aunt's house, made new arrangements for Pug Ginger because first arrangements fell through, went into work for ten minutes, went back up to the hospital in time for The Aunt to be admitted and taken to a room, went to pick up The Evanator, met Dan & Sean at Target to pick up last-minute travel stuff, got dinner, came home & fed boys dinner, put boys to bed, and continued to work on last-minute travel stuff.

The Aunt is going to be fine. Pug Ginger is going to be fine. Everything is going to be fine.

Hakuna Matata!!

(PS, I have actually been taking a picture every day for that 365 Project, but I haven't uploaded in awhile. Will do it as soon as I can, but it might not be until after we get back from Florida)
