The Van had his 15-month well-child appointment yesterday. He is totally healthy and growing beautifully. He weighed in at 26 pounds, 8 ounces -- diaper off (75th percentile). His length is 31 inches (30th percentile! He's growing!). Head circumference is 70th percentile. His ears looked perfect! And the doctor even used that word: "perfect." Awesome!
He received only two shots, and now he's all done with vaccines until he goes to kindergarten. So weird to think about....
He didn't even cry for the first shot -- I had no idea the nurse had already done it. But the second one stung a little more (she warned me it might) and he cried for that one. And now he's sportin' a bit of a hard red spot on that leg. See what happens when the baby starts gaining length and losing girth? His little legs are losing their baby fat (aka: shot cushion).
As for the picture above -- I took that with my new phone while waiting for the doctor last night. And I'm having way too much fun with the fun photo editing app I downloaded.
Just wait till he sees Downtown Disney (!!!!).
