The Evanator's half-year stats:

Height/Weight: 36(ish) pounds and just slightly under 40 inches.

Wearing: Size 3T pants (yep, still short) and size 4T/5 tops. What little height he has, it's in his torso -- definitely not in his legs. He's in Size 8-9 shoes.

Eating: Pretty much nothing. He's picky-picky-picky. Still. He likes peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, cereal bars, waffles, yogurt.... and those are probably the only things I can get him to eat on a consistent basis. Everything else, he likes it one day, and not the next. Oh, unless it contains sugar. Then he probably likes it without question. But mostly, it doesn't matter what I say I'm making for dinner, he'll respond, almost instinctively at this point: I don't like it.

Sleeping: This is a toughie. He goes to bed at 8:00 on week nights, and 8:30 on weekends. But he rarely goes right to sleep anymore. Especially on week nights when he's been at daycare where they're required to nap. I think he's done napping, but he does it there because what else is there to do from 12:30-3:00 when the lights are out and they're required to be quiet? So I've gone into his room at 9, 9:30, occasionally (though not often, thankfully) even as late as 10pm and he's still awake in there. On weekends, he falls asleep quicker because he doesn't nap. When all is said & done, I think he gets about 10-11 hours of sleep in a 24-hour period, however it's achieved. And that seems to work for him.

Miscellaneous: This kid is feisty! He can push buttons like nobody's business. And he has more attitude than a teenage girl, I'm sure of it. But then in the next breath, he can be calm and loving and sweet.....

I get lots (and lots and lots) of comments from perfect strangers on how absolutely adorable he is. Of course I think know that's true, but I'm getting the sense that this is simply a point of fact. Not gonna lie: I'm good with this.

He's still not nearly as into electronics as Sean is. Evan would much rather be playing with costumes and pretending to be someone, somewhere else. He'd rather play with cars or Legos. He'd rather play with play sets like the Batcave or his Jake & The Neverland Pirates figures. His creativity knows no bounds.
