So The Sick has hit our house. Sean was down for the count Friday into Saturday. I took him to the doctor Saturday morning, where they did a flu test, which came back today (confirmed positive). On a side note, I'm pretty sure my kids are officially more afraid of a nasal swab than they are of shots (!).
And thus beginneth Tamiflu: Round 1.
It was really no shocker when Evan woke up yesterday morning with a fever of 103+. Couldn't get him into the doctor so we hit up Urgent Care, where they didn't even bother with a flu test. They just prescribed the Tamiflu based on Sean's situation.
And thus beginneth Tamiflu: Round 2.
Tamiflu is like a miracle drug though -- both boys are doing amazing! Within 18 hours, they were bouncing off walls. Except for the dang cough.... still coughing. But at least they'll be good to go for Christmas, so YAY for that!
