I signed the boys up for a kids race this past weekend -- a mile around the zoo. Sounds fun, right? Yeah, I thought so too. Until The Evanator, at the last minute, decided he didn't want to run it, and then at the last minute after that, decided he did want to run it. He (we) didn't end up running it. We waited at the finish line for Sean, who got a high-five from Sparty as he came in.
On Saturday night, I did something I haven't done in years: practically shut down a bar (!). We had my high school reunion at a local bar, which turned out to be much more fun than I anticipated. Kerri and I stayed until like 1:30/1:45am!! I didn't know I had it in me! Of course, then I slept until like 8:30 Sunday morning, then took a 1-hour nap on the couch Sunday afternoon. I knew I had that in me.
Sunday, G&G watched the boys for a few hours while Dan & I ran some errands (not together -- we were dividing and conquering on Sunday). It was a gorgeous day to be outside!
