I had a hot date with The Evanator today. I got us 10:30am tickets to Sesame Street Live -- just the two of us. Of course when we got there and he noticed a lot of other kids had spinning light thingies, I just had to get him one too. Then during intermission, these guys came out with fistfuls of balloons for sale. And he really, really wanted one (and of course, the kids on either side of us got one). So yeah, the sucker I am, I got him one of those too. But his smile and excitement.... oh my heart. As difficult as Evan can be sometimes and as far as he can test my limits, he's really a sweet, affectionate, and appreciative kid.
After the show, we went to McDonalds for lunch (where he proceeded to test my limits), then I had to take him to daycare so I could (*sigh*) work. Next on the agenda: win lottery so we can have more days like this one, minus the part about having to work.
