Evan's second soccer experience yesterday was still an epic fail. He did great during the instructional practice drills & stuff. But when it came game time, he lasted about 10 seconds before he ran out sobbing because they wouldn't give him the ball. I have no idea what to make of it.... Oh, and he keeps asking to do karate. So, there's that. He keeps me on my toes, this one.

Today was a good Mother's Day. Left the men to fend for themselves while I went out to breakfast with Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Janet. It was super nice. I ate way too much, then came home and had a 2-1/2 mile run to justify all the food I ate, then I ate more as the day wore on. NO idea what's up with the bottomless pit of a stomach today, but I can't say I haven't enjoyed it, haha!
