Dan & I had a date night Friday night! The kids went to Mom's while Dan & I went to a Home & Garden show at MSU.  It was pretty fun! We spent over two hours there, and the only things we purchased were some toffee candy and some really cool hand warmers for Dan for hunting season. Not one home or garden item, haha! After we got home (like at 9:30pm!), we ate, watched some TV, then fell asleep. And we slept until around 9:30am, totaling over 10 hours of sleep. Seriously! It's not like our boys are poor sleepers or we're anything even resembling sleep-deprived. We get awesome sleep on a regular basis. I had no idea I even had the ability to sleep until 9:30am! But evidently, I still got it.  And it's still heavenly.

Saturday after I picked up the boys from Mom's house, I came home and ran on the treadmill, running over two miles before slowing down to a fast walk (I did a little over 3 miles total)! That's not much to seasoned runners, but to me, it's kind of a milestone. Training for this half marathon is going to either be the life or the death of me, but the way I felt after Saturday's run, I'm thinking it's the former. It felt awesome! And I got over 15,000 steps on my Fitbit for the day. Un-freakin'-believable!

This coming week is going to be a busy one. Piano lessons for Sean (which are going very well!), PTA meeting, parent-teacher conferences, retirement party, two half days of school for Sean, and a Mom 2 Mom sale next weekend.

Sean reading Evan a bedtime story tonight. Sean typically reads one or both bedtime stories now.
