Tonight was Sean's last night of VBS. He loved it! Sophia was even able to join him Wednesday, Thursday, and tonight, which made it even better. They did a short, casual singing thing for the parents (they didn't even take the kids up on stage for it -- they just sat in their seats in front of the church), but Sean was doing everything but participating (much to Dan's dismay). He was looking around, fidgeting, playing with his hook.... made me wonder if he got anything out of VBS this week.
Of course then as we're brushing his teeth, he bursts into song -- one of the songs they've been singing this week. So yeah, he paid attention. And when you ask him what he learned this week, he'll respond: "I learned about God and the superheros!" But he can't seem to give details other than to say that God saved us from the fiery furnace (ode to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego, haha!).
