We were house bound yesterday (by "we" I mean me, Dan, Sean, and Evan). Poor Sean woke up with the sickies and he couldn't keep anything down for a few hours. After a two-hour morning nap and a slooooow reintroduction of Pedialyte and bland foods, he was good as new. But getting him to lie low and take it easy for the rest of the afternoon was quite the challenge (!). By this morning, he was itchin' to go. And so we went.
To Downtown Disney. So he could actually, you know, enjoy it this time. Grandpa went with us....
We started at the Lego store. Yes, I know. What the heck could we have possibly needed at the Lego store after we just spent a full day at Legoland? Answer: more Legos. Duh! Sean wanted to build a few dudes, so Daddy helped him with that...
And Evan got some new Duplos. He didn't get to build them himself but he didn't seem to mind...
After Sean and Daddy built some Lego dudes, they decided to fill a small Lego container with "pick a brick" Legos. I'm pretty sure I will be dreaming in colored bricks tonight after this.
And of course we took lots of pictures of the boys posing with statues -- many, many statues....
And they rode the train and the carousel....
And before we left, we offered Sean the option of either building a Light Saber at the Once Upon A Toy store or building a dinosaur at the T-Rex restaurant. Much to mine & Dan's surprise, he chose the dinosaur!!
I can't believe tomorrow is our last full day here!! It's going by so quickly -- too quickly. We have no concrete plans for tomorrow, but I think we might head for the Florida mall to check out M&M World. Or maybe a zoo. Or maybe just drink Dew by the pool all day. Who knows...?
