Stare-down at Culvers
The thing about fall time change, is that the Sunday after just goes on & on forever. It's only one extra hour but it feels like five hours. This is neither good nor bad, typically. It's just a looooong day (but at least it's a loooooong day I don't have to work, haha!). But today, it was particularly enjoyable.

I woke up at 7am this morning (new time) and of course all the guys were already up. We had the whole day ahead of us. I did laundry while they did puzzles (all three of 'em). I ran 3-1/2 miles on the treadmill while Dan showered and the boys drew pictures. Around 11:00, we left for Toys R Us and Target (gift cards burning holes in the boys' pockets). We went to Culvers for lunch. The four of us sat in a booth for two, haha!

Came home and the boys played with the new toys they got with their gift cards. Sean got Ninja Turtles walkie talkies (even I had fun with those!); Evan got a Melissa & Doug doctor outfit, then proceeded to give all of us several check-ups today. I'm very healthy, and I was brave for all my shots.

Tomorrow begins a short work week, and with each passing day, I become just a little more nervous, yet excited about Saturday's big run! Yikes!
