Right now in Michigan, it's in the 20's and snowing. In Florida, not so much.

This trip is quickly confirming what I already pretty much knew: Evan is not a great traveler. Nothing really entertains him for longer than 5 minutes other than running around like a crazy person. No Kindle, no brand new toys, no food. Nothing. He went a little stir crazy on the plane, not being able to get up & walk around. I'm surprised he didn't ask to go to the bathroom more. I went a little stir crazy trying to keep him from making the other passengers stir crazy.

However, we made it to Orlando and deboarded the plane as quickly as possible. As soon as we walked out of the terminal, he asked: "Is this Florida? Where are the Stormtroopers?"

Yep. He's his father's son, no doubt about that.

Cute story: I told Evan that he needed to flap his arms really hard at takeoff in order to get the plane off the ground. So I have a great video of him doing just that! I'll have to post that later....

Today we were up & in the pool by 8:30am. It's like bath water -- totally awesome! After Evan's (and Dan's) nap, we went to Downtown Disney. It was INSANELY crowded! I wanted to eat at Earl of Sandwich while we were there, but the line was wrapped around the restaurant, and I think it went out the door.

So we bolted from Downtown Disney, opting instead for McDonalds (after visiting Santa, of course).

PS. We're Fed-Ex'ing Evan back home Friday.

(No pics in this post because the internet connection in the (lovely) house in which we're staying is a bit slow and I need to go to bed -- Tomorrow: Legoland!).
