He's reading at a Guided Reading Level G, and his disinterest in reading has pretty much disappeared. He's very into reading now! And the more he reads, the more he likes to read (funny how that works). We haven't noticed this at home, but his teacher informed us he really likes nonfiction books. Currently books about houses. He loves to read about houses. Huh.... didn't know that.
Ummm... let's see... he can count to 109 by 1's, 20 by 2's, and 100 by 5's & 10's. Totally normal.
And he's very artistic! His teacher told us she's very impressed with his handwriting and his drawing skills. "He could write a book and illustrate it," she said. Makes sense -- his mom does calligraphy and his dad can draw.
