Just when I thought it couldn't get any hotter, it got hotter. By 5:00 Friday evening, it was 103 degrees with a heat index of 108. CRAZY! But that didn't stop Sean & me from going to Kerry's and hanging out with her & Danielle in the backyard while our bevy of boys alternated between the pool & the trampoline -- six boys in total.

We left Kerry's at 10pm (thankfully it had cooled down into the mid-90's by then, ha!), though I think Sean would've slept in that pool had I let him.

Then we turned around and went back the next morning, as our friend Katy was passing through, along with her two daughters, on their way to their cottage.

Nine kids. Four adults. 100 degree heat. No a/c. Sub sandwiches. Pasta Salad. Cupcakes.

It was an AWESOME afternoon!!!

And in other news.... ummm.... I think Evan wants to potty train. This evening when I was getting ready to put his overnight diaper on him, he kept saying "Potty!" So, out of curiosity, I let him up and he ran into the bathroom and tried to stand in front of the toilet, which of course, he's too short to do. So Dan ran downstairs and grabbed the potty chair. I'll be darned if that kid didn't sit down and pee in it. On purpose! And then he was proud of it!

W-T-H?! Is my baby really ready to grow up? Is he really going to make potty training that easy on me? Stay tuned..... (because everyone just loves to hear potty training details, right?)
