As of today, we have a sign in our front yard. It's weird. We've been living in this house for pretty much our entire married lives. It's where I learned what Dan can really do with a few screws, some paint, and a can of caulk; and it's where we became a family of three, then four. The prospect of leaving it causes mixed emotions.
It's funny though, as crappy as the housing market is and as unlikely as everyone seems to think it is that we'll sell this house for what we need, I still find myself excited and even hopelessly optimistic. We're gonna get an offer next week, I just know it, right?
Heck, if nothing else, at least we're currently enjoying a freakishly clean house. I don't think this place has been this clean & organized since.... since.... umm..... I can't even remember. Most certainly before we had children anyway.
And now.... we house-hunt.
